My 365 is done! I can say, in all seriousness, this year has flown by. It honestly doesn't feel like this thing should be over. It has been a great year and I'm so glad I was able to share it with so many people through my photos. I have grown so much not just in terms of photography, but as a person. This project has taught me to see the beauty in all things and I think that alone has made me a better person in this past year. Not all of my photos have been incredibly creative but they're a glimpse into my life, on that day, and that's what this project was all about. I am so grateful for every single person that's supported me throughout this thing. That includes people that looked at my blog everyday and the people that may have only looked once. I have gotten so many supportive words and comments and it's because of them that I picked up my camera every. single. day. to get at least one shot. I love you all. :)

Obviously, I'm not going to stop. I get new inspiration every day and photography is now just a part of me and who I am. Although, I will most likely be posting them to my Flickr page so check them out there!Thank you again and I wish everyone good health and prosperity in the New Year!

I can't believe it's Christmas Eve. This season went by so quickly. I'm just glad my days of having to be at work at 6:30am are over. I've barely seen any sunlight the last 10 days. Now, I'm excited to wrap presents with my love and a glass of wine. :)

The Dexter finale is tonight! :D I am SO excited to see what happens! 

I figured since I did a Dexter-inspired photo for the premier, I would do one for the finale. I edited this very quickly and I'm not completely happy with it but I am too tired to edit any more of it. Instead I am going to cuddle with my puppy and wait for Tomas to come home so we can watch! :D

I saw this quote a couple of days ago (I forgot who it's by) and I thought it was beautiful. I read a lot (a lot) of photography forums everyday and there has been a lot of debate on what is considered art and what is considered porn and I think that this quote sort of goes along with it. Just something that's been on my mind lately. :) 

I'd like to add that it is strange looking at your own back straight on. My back isn't as graceful and elegant as I thought it was. I wanted to make it smooth and take out the moles and scars but I left them. :)

FREE!

My last final was this morning! I'm so happy. Even though I'm really only free for about a month. Oh well. My free time will now be spent on working on the end of this project.

This photo thoroughly shows how I feel today. And I die for this light. So perfect. I also just realized that I am wearing the exact same cardigan and boots as in this photo when spring semester ended. I'm so cool.

This is inspired by last night's lunar eclipse. It's so cool to just sit and watch it as the shadow passes over the moon. I wish I had a longer lens so I could capture it. I am so inspired and intrigued by the moon and space and stars (if that wasn't already apparent). I think this concludes my moon photo series. I do love them though.

Christmas bokeh is one of my favorite things. In fact, bokeh in general is one of my favorite things, Christmas time just happens to have a lot of it. I'll try not to spam everyone's RSS feed with it. ;)

OH! and if you look reeeeeaaallly closely in that ornament you can see me! Then if you look a little to the left of me you can see my dog and his ginormous ears. He looks like a Christmas reindeer!

My dog seriously hates me sometimes. Most of the time it's when I have my camera glued to my face with treats above it. He especially hated me tonight when I not only had my camera but wrapped him up in Christmas lights until he was afraid to move. But I love him and his little face. :)

I eventually gave him the treats.

The fog tonight is so insane! It's making beautiful light rays all over the place. This was taken in the darkness with just that one light source. The mist of the fog makes it look like sun rays. I love how pretty it is tonight. But everyone drive carefully!!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone! 

I can't believe it's already Thanksgiving. I seriously can't believe how fast this year is going by. There is so much for me to be thankful for. I am so incredibly blessed. I had a wonderful Thanksgiving full of food, family and friends. 

My poor Lupin had to stay home alone today so I wanted to incorporate him in my photo for the day because I am so SO thankful for him. :D

I had a much needed hair appointment today. My hair feels healthy again! It has been fried and was in desperate need of a color. I got a darker shade for the fall and winter months. :)

We had our diamond show at work today. I like them. I think they're fun. But sometimes it gets a little overwhelming and you just need to take a break. I went outside for some fresh air and quickly shot this photo. Love that the bird creeped into the frame. He totally makes the shot.
