Today was the first day of the spring semester for me. So as long as I get into this class that I'm crashing, I don't think this semester will be too bad.  I think I'm going to enjoy most of my classes. :)

So.. I am no longer free. Like these balloons. Which aren't really free either. So... scratch that. I just liked them.

I went to work late today and luckily the sky was very pretty. Otherwise I wouldn't have gotten a photo.

I'll just start by saying I'm pretty sure I have seasonal affective disorder.  So when I have a day off and the sun is shining (such as today), all I want to do is bask in it.  But today, of course, I am really sick and I spent most of my time laying on the couch and taking naps.  I should really invest in one of those ambient light things.

I did, however, leave the apartment for a whopping 20 minutes to pick up Tomas from school and stop off at Trader Joe's. This was my only chance for a shot so I brought my camera. I'm glad because I like the bokeh. :)

So if you don't know me very well, I am a very emotional person. Can't help it. I cry at everything. So when I said goodbye to my sister this morning when she went to school, I immediately started bawling.  She just kinda looked at me funny.  Then we we left for home and said goodbye to my mom and grandparents, I cried again. It's hard living so far away from the people I love so much. But we are home now and I am looking forward to visiting again in the summer. 

Thankfully, Tomas drove because the scenery on the way home was just amazing.

So the weather predicted rain all 5 days we were going to be in here in Oregon.  Thankfully, it only rained one. However, it rained on the day we were planning to walk on the beach and explore Oregon's coast.  Oh well. I got some pretty nice photos and it wasn't too bad. It was actually warmer today than it was when I visited in the summer. After that, we got my sister from the bus stop, had some dinner, and cuddled and watched Fright Night. :)

So this is a photo of Oregon's rocky coast. This rock is pretty popular. Can you see the face? :)

Another fun day today. :) My mom had the day off.  She taught me how to make biscuits and gravy (yum!).  We went into town and went to this gorgeous little park.  We had fun walking around and randomly setting up my camera on self-timer.  Then we went to see Tangled which was SO cute. We are having lots of fun here.  Tomorrow is our last full day and I'll be sad to leave :/

Lots of fun today. We slept in, my Gma made us some breakfast, we went and walked around downtown Coos Bay, then we picked up Hailey from the bus stop and just hung out. :) I'm so glad we were able to come and visit. I am so excited for tomorrow because my mom has the day off and I pretty much told her that she has to cook all of my favorite things for me. HA. I can't wait! 

So, Hailey just learned how to braid and she wanted to practice on me.  I know I am totally cheating here because I didn't take this photo, Tomas did. But I like it, and oh well.

Tomas and I had a loooooong drive to Coos Bay, Oregon today. But we made it! I am so excited for the week we have ahead of us, despite the constant rain that we're supposed to be having.

So sometimes when I'm driving and I see something cool, I pull over to shoot it.  That happened quite a bit during the drive today. This is one of my favorites. The clouds were so low and it was beautiful.

Such a productive day today. Well, not really. I cleaned a lot though! And we went to Mikuni for Jesse's birthday dinner. :) Back to work tomorrow and Oregon on Monday! :) So looks like I got this post in right in time. And I've already done one week so far.  Only 51 to go! 

It's not Christmas anymore, but I still like the lights.

I had a wonderful, much needed day off today. I love winter break because I get actual days off.  During school, my days off from work are my school days.  It gets tiring quickly.  So I thoroughly enjoyed my day off by doing absolutely nothing productive. It was wonderful. 

We went to The Old Spaghetti for lunch today.  Thursday's soup special is Chicken Mulligatawny and that is the only reason we went.  It is the most delicious soup on the face of the earth.  Especially in the winter. Love it.

OSF has some beautiful chandeliers.

I couldn't decide what picture I wanted for today's post because this was so cute! So, I'm posting both.  Weird that it was at the Spaghetti Factory... But cute!

What a day. Tomas and I are taking a trip to Oregon next week so I got some work done on my car today so we don't die.  Also, I went wedding dress shopping with Jesse (she got it!!!). Then I went to work. I feel exhausted and hungry now.  

So here is my photo. I walk around the mall a lot, since I work there and all, and always walk by this carousel.  I've had this exact photo in my mind for a while. It came out exactly how I had it in my head.

I really need to make a habit of bringing my camera with me everywhere.  In my defense, I was doing inventory at work alllll day long and definitely would not have had a chance to shoot anything.  This is because the place I work for is a tad bit behind the times and we have to hand-write the stock number, model number, and the price of every. single. piece. Needless to say, my hand feels like it is going to fall off now.  Anyways, I was driving home and watching the sun set without camera in hand.  This is the best view I could get of it from my apartment and I kinda like it. :)

This should be an interesting project.  We're only on day two here and I forget my camera when I go to work today.  

Well today is the first "Self-Portrait Sunday."  I don't like taking pictures indoors.  At all.  I don't have a flash and the on-camera flash is never really flattering.  Oh well.  This is me after work, already in my pajamas. :)

So I have been contemplating for about two weeks whether or not I have the creativity or the diligence for a 365 project.  I decided that I probably don't.  But I'm going to do one anyways. So I will take one photo everyday and post it one here. I will also do a "Self-Portrait Sunday" just to see how I will change over the course of a year. :)
